Ruben Loftus-Cheek is yet to have that big break in his senior team career, despite his potential.
The Chelsea youngster is yet to gain regular football under any Chelsea manager and has never left the club on loan.
Former Manchester City manager Stuart Pearce believes the club should take a cue from how much the loan move benefited Nathan Ake.
Football pundit Pearce believes a loan move to a Premier League side worked for fellow Chelsea youngster Nathan Ake and will work for Loftus-Cheek.
“There’s no way you’d let this player go out the door [by selling him],” he told BT Sport. “You’ve got to keep him as a Chelsea player.
“Ake went to Bournemouth, he’s grown in esteem, certainly Bournemouth have missed him since he’s gone.”
