Jose Mourinho was relieved of his duties as Chelsea manager last season, as his team went from being champions to relegation battlers, which ultimately led to his dismissal.
He guided Manchester United to the EFL Cup on Sunday, and former Manchester United player Quinton Fortune, who played over 100 games for United, has tipped his former club to dominate the league under the Portuguese.
“Of course, they can dominate again,” Fortune said. “The way they are going now, with the young players … Anthony Martial and [Marcus] Rashford.
“There’s youth and it’s mixed with Zlatan [Ibrahimovic]. There’s a lot of exciting moments to look forward to.
“Then there’s Pogba. He’s still only 23. We forget about that. There’s a lot of youth in the team and in a few years’ time, they will get even better. For the moment, they are playing at this level and it is already amazing.
“I’m excited about this season. They have the potential to go and win everything. They have the mentality of not losing, which is great because we have the attacking players who are always creating chances and scoring.”
