John Terry’s contract runs out in the summer, and there’s little hope of a renewal for the Chelsea legend.
Terry had once stated that he wouldn’t play for another Premier League club, but rumours claim he might make a U-turn on that as he’s tipped to play for another Premier League side next season.
Terry hasn’t been given many opportunities this season, and the 36-year-old still believes he’s got it.
Former Tottenham manager Harry Redknapp believes Arsene Wenger doesn’t have leaders in his team, and signing John Terry will be a good deal for the Gunners.
He told talkSPORT: “If I was the manager of Arsenal, I would take John Terry tomorrow.
“He would absolutely improve that side. That’s what they’re short of, they’re short of a John Terry – they’ve got no leaders.
“I think someone like John would sort a few of them out and get them at it.
“He’d be worth his weight in gold around the place. There are not many players like him around anymore.”
Close pal Frank Lampard has told Terry that the Blues fans would not begrudge Terry a move to another Premier League club – as long as it was not Tottenham.
