Eden Hazard’s goal against Arsenal last month was voted as the best goal in the league for the month of February, and the goal has now been named as Chelsea’s goal of the month for the month of February.
The goal was indeed an outstanding one and might end up being the goal of the season.
To score the goal which was the second goal of the game in the 3-1 win over the Gunners, Hazard picked the ball up on the halfway line and left a trail of defenders in his wake, before calmly lifting the ball over Petr Cech.
Two of Pedro’s goals were also nominated, as well as Cesc Fabregas’s opener in our game against Swansea, but it was Hazard’s goal which came out on top.
THIS SEASON’S PREVIOUS CHELSEA GOALS OF THE MONTH WERE:
January – David Luiz v Liverpool
December – Pedro v Bournemouth
November – Pedro v Tottenham
October – Diego Costa v Southampton
September – Cesar Azpilicueta v Leicester
