If you’ve been following proceedings in the Chelsea training camp then you’ll be aware of the international competition going on against the different nationalities.

To the main story, Cesc Fabregas uploaded a photograph of himself alongside the likes of Pedro and Cesar Azpilicueta after his Spanish team were victorious in a mini-tournament at Cobham ahead of Monday’s clash with Manchester United.

Costa, who had previously played with the Spain team switched camps to join the Brazilians as they lost to Spain.

Fabregas wrote on Instagram: “Spanish team wins again! Back to back wins, undefeated!”

“Thanks to our new coach Julio Tous for the tactics. Easy win in the semis against England and entertaining final against Brazil.”

Costa responded to the post with a number of middle finger emojis which Alonso seemed to take particular exception to.

“Traidor,” Alonso replied on Fabregas’ post, meaning “traitor”.
