A Harry Kane double and a third from Dele Alli helped Tottenham secure a 3-2 victory for Spurs over the Toffees at White Hart Lane, and it has got Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and the likes of Harry Kane dreaming about the title again.
Interestingly, Everton manager Ronald Koeman was asked about Spurs’ chance after losing to Spurs. He said: “I think Tottenham are really strong side. It’s a difficult system to play against – Chelsea are playing out of the same system.
“It will be very difficult with the distance in points. I think Chelsea are too strong for the rest.”
Surely, Koeman still remembers the 5-0 bashing at Stamford Bridge, and he knows that Chelsea are here for the title this season.
