Prior to the ongoing international football going on, Eden Hazard and Victor Moses were unavailable for their respective countries, although Moses’ case seems more of a rest so as not to aggravate his minor calf issue.
Now, international football has added two more key Chelsea players to the treatment table – Diego Costa and Thibaut Courtois.
Diego Costa was forced to leave the training session after being injured on his foot and ankle, due to which he was submitted to a series of tests (X-ray and TAC) at Sanitas Clinic in La Moraleja, where finally he was given the ok.
And as for Courtois, he played the World Cup qualifying draw against Greece on Saturday and has been diagnosed with a hip problem.
Courtois and Costa have been key players for Chelsea this season and would definitely be needed as we wrap up the title race.
But at least, we should be grateful that their injuries aren’t anything serious, and reports suggest they should both be available for April 1 clash with Crystal Palace.
