Tottenham beat Everton 3-2 on Sunday afternoon to close the gap between Chelsea and Spurs to 7 points, pending Chelsea’s game against West Ham.
Tottenham striker Harry Kane, revealed after the game that him and his teammates want West Ham to beat Chelsea on Monday.
Speaking after Tottenham’s win over Everton, Kane said: “I wanted that third goal and I had chances which I should have scored. It would have been another matchball but delighted with the win.
“I feel sharp, fitter than ever so I need to keep it going. Every time I go out there I want to score goals.
“We played very well today and controlled the game and then all of a sudden it was a nervy end. It’s an important win, we should have won by more but it’s another step closer to the top of the table.
“We want West Ham to win against Chelsea tomorrow, we don’t normally say that.”
It’s good you said your mind Kane, and as usual you’d be disappointed, again.
