Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante has been superb for Chelsea this season, maintaining his sublime form he showcased at Leicester City last season that made Chelsea pay £33 million for his services during the summer.
Kante was voted the Man of the Match after another spectacular display that saw the midfielder boss Manchester United Paul Pogba and score the only goal of the game as Chelsea dumped Manchester United out of the FA Cup.
Leicester City legend Gary Lineker believes Kante, who isn’t renowned for his goalscoring, has the potential to become the best midfield player ever if he scores more goals.
“Bloody hell, if Kante starts scoring goals as well he’ll become the best midfield player ever,” Lineker tweeted after watching Kante score against Manchester United on Monday night.
Bloody hell, if @nglkante starts scoring goals as well he'll become the best midfield player ever.
