Romelu Lukaku currently leads the race to win the Golden Boot in the Premier League and has emerged as a key target for Chelsea in the coming transfer window.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is under no illusion of the threat Lukaku will pose his Liverpool side ahead of the Merseyside Derby at Anfield on Saturday.
“I like him, he is a very good striker. I have never thought about players from other teams that we cannot reach,” Klopp said of 23-year-old Lukaku.
“He is from Everton. I do not know about how many players moved between the clubs.
“He is a really good striker. He has our respect. He needs passes, support from other players. “How can we avoid this? That’s my main thing.”
It’s believed Lukaku and Alvaro Morata are Chelsea’s striking targets for next season.
