Chelsea youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek was the star of the show, as he produced a good display in England U21s 4-0 over Denmark U21.
While Loftus-Cheek was a late substitute in Friday’s defeat to Germany, Nathaniel Chalobah, Lewis Baker and Tammy Abraham were all starters on Friday. But for tonight’s showdown, Loftus-Cheek started for the young Lions, while Tammy Abraham and Co were on the bench.
England controlled proceedings early on, and within just ten minutes, Loftus-Cheek made his mark by hitting the target with fine quality to put England ahead.
Five minutes after Loftus-Cheek’s goal, a powerful drive by Solly March took a deflection and flew in, making it 2-0.
Loftus-Cheek continue to dominate the game when Cauley Woodrow made it 3-0 as he poked the ball home from close range and with just over 20 minutes remaining Loftus-Cheek scored a brilliant second to make it 4-0.
