28-year-old Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is in line for a new Chelsea contract at the end of the season according to a report by Daily Mirror.

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has preferred the midfield partnership of Nemanja Matic and N’Golo Kante this season and a reward of a new contract for the Serbian is reportedly on the cards.

Matic has just over two years left on his Chelsea contract, having signed a five-and-a-half year contract when he rejoined Chelsea about three years ago.
