Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi joined Chelsea in the summer from French club Marseille for a fee of £33.1million but the striker has failed to play regularly since his move to Chelsea.
Batshuayi has not started a single Premier League game for Chelsea this season. Even when Diego Costa missed the game against Leicester City in January, Eden Hazard was preferred at centre forward with Batshuayi on the bench.
The 23-year-old striker wants to leave Chelsea in the summer – whether on loan or permanently – and will only remain at Chelsea next season if Antonio Conte guarantees him more playing time according to a Daily Mail report.
Antonio Conte has always maintained that Batshuayi is in his plans but Batshuayi’s lack of playing time doesn’t really back up Conte’s claims.
