If you’re a Chelsea fan, then, you probably know about one of the biggest headlines in football this past week, but if you don’t, I’ll tell you about it. Victor Moses has been rewarded with a new contract by the Chelsea management, and Antonio Conte. The new deal will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2021, and it’s rumoured that the 26 year old will pocket a weekly sum of about £75,000. Yes, it’s nothing compared to what some players earn, but for Victor Moses, this is definitely a big deal, and well deserved too.

When you look back at what his early days and years at Chelsea were like, and his transformation over the past few months, you can’t help but be happy for the man. He has been the revelation of the season so far in the EPL, and perhaps in the whole of Europe, and he’s matured as a player. Moses is a real talent, and cuts across as humble too. It’s his humility that saw him continue to give his best and remain loyal even when his talent wasn’t respected enough. Now, he’s getting all the respect he deserves, and I hope he only gets better for it. He has what it takes to be one of the very best in the world, it’s only a matter of time until he gets there, and hopefully the next few years with Conte will help him realise his potentials fully. Congratulations to you, Victor. May tomorrow ever be better.

King Jay is a writer/broadcaster with years of experience under his belt. His love affair with Chelsea actually began as a joke, but today, he stands tall as a die-hard blue. What makes him perfect for this blog? He lives for Chelsea FC, in fact, I heard he sat in the middle of a road, and refused to go home after that bitter loss to Barcelona in 2009. Haha.
