Monday night will mark Jose Mourinho’s second return to Stamford Bridge since his sack in December 2015, as Chelsea host Manchester United in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup.

Mourinho was sacked as Chelsea manager back in December 2015, after a disastrous spell. On his first return to the Bridge, he went back to Manchester a frustrated man as Chelsea won that game 4-0. Speaking on his second return, he said it’s no different.

“Chelsea? It’s no different,” he said.

“Obviously before the game and after the game, I’ll meet some fans and some people I like.

“The relation with the fans was always good but, for me, it’s just professional.”

Mourinho also visited Stamford Bridge as an opposition manager during his time with Inter Milan.
