Chelsea beat Manchester United via a lone goal from N’Golo Kante to reach the semifinals of the FA Cup.

See how the players fared:

Courtois: Had one save to make, and he showed his class by stopping Marcus Rashford in a one on one situation. Good save to preserve Chelsea’s lead. 7.5/10

Azpilicueta: Definitely the best of our centre halves tonight. Was solid as a rock, supported the attack on many occasions and even had a sniff on goal one time. 7.5/10

Luiz: Good game from the Brazilian. Solid defending all game long, although he could have done better to deal with the pass for Rashford that almost led to a goal. 7/10

Cahill: Good display from the captain tonight. The only scary moment was when he showed Rashford his back when one against one with the young striker. Other than that, he was brilliant. 7/10

Matic: His physical presence in the midfield helped Chelsea to edge the midfield battle against United. His height and physique helped the team in the early stages of the game. 7/10

Kante: Beautiful display from the Frenchman, put Pogba in his pocket and scored a wonderful goal to give Chelsea the win. 8.5/10

Alonso: The Spaniard made sure Chelsea’s left flank was impenetrable, and he supported the attack pretty well too. 7/10

Moses: Had a good battle with Ashley Young on the right flank, and it’s a battle he won pretty well. Good game from the Nigerian. 7.5/10

Willian: Gave a good account of himself, was lively and combined well with Eden Hazard at times. Troubled De Gea with one shot, and his pace and trickery troubled United’s defence. 7.5/10

Hazard: He didn’t get a goal or an assist, but he was the catalyst for today’s victory. His brilliant turn in the 16th minute sparked Chelsea to life. He threatened United’s defence relentlessly and forced Ander Herrera to get a red card. Brilliant performance! 8.5/10

Costa: Had a physical battle with Rojo, worked hard for the team and could have gotten a goal. Interchanged well with Hazard and Willian on some occasions. 7/10

Fabregas: Replaced Willian with just ten minutes left, and he made his impact felt as he controlled the game in the middle. Forced a save from De Gea in the closing stages of the game. 6.5/10

Zouma: Came on for Moses with just two minutes left of normal time and won an important header almost immediately.

Batshuayi: Replaced Costa with just a minute left of added time.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
