Eden Hazard scored the first goal for Chelsea in the 2-1 victory over West Ham, and the goal was a beauty. N’Golo Kante in usual fashion won the ball, and Hazard and Pedro combined well before Hazard eventually beat Randolph with his first touch and slotted the ball home.

“It was good,” Hazard smiled as he spoke about the goal. “N’Golo got the ball and he passed to me and I passed to Pedro and I ran, because my job is to score some goals!

“This season we have all reached a high level, me included. We are happy to play together. Last season was hard but two years ago was a great season. There are similarities with what we did two seasons ago and we want to do the same thing and get the title.

“But in England it’s never over until it’s over,” Hazard added. “You never know what’s going to happen. We will all give everything until the end to try to win the league.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
