Real Madrid have a penchant to go to other big clubs and try to buy their biggest players, and in recent times the Spanish giants have targeted two Chelsea stars – Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
More recently, Madrid have been linked strongly with a move for Thibaut Courtois, and the Blues goalkeeper as well as David De Gea of Manchester United are the two keepers the Spanish club want.
Keylor Navas who was booed by his own fans during Wednesday’s 3-3 draw against Las Palmas which saw Zinedine Zidane’s side surrender top spot in La Liga, has warned Courtois and De Gea that he isn’t ready to surrender his shirt.
“I do not think that the fans make the decisions of who stays and who doesn’t,” he said.
“I know I have to work to improve. The one who is here now is me and I am going to defend my position to the death. There are a lot of games remaining.
“Sometimes things do not work out as well as we like but I still have the faith that we are going to win titles this season.”
Well, he can keep his threats, as Chelsea do not have any intentions of selling the Belgian.
