Manchester United’s Paul Pogba is currently the highest earner in the Premier League with a salary of £290,000-a-week.
Eden Hazard is currently on a salary of £200,000 per week with his contract due to expire in the summer of 2020.
Real Madrid are in hot pursuit of the Chelsea star, and the Blues are trying to tie Hazard to a new deal.
The Sun claims that the Premier League leaders will open talks next month over a new £300,000-a-week contract for the Belgium international, a deal that will make him the highest earner in the Premier League.
The report also claims that Chelsea are confident that they can keep Hazard, and have promised the Belgian that Antonio Conte’s squad will be significantly strengthened to cope with the demands of Champions League football next season.
