Former Chelsea and current Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was interested in signing Willian for Manchester United last season, but the move didn’t materialise.

Willian was a key player for Mourinho especially in the season when he was sacked, and the Brazilian ended up winning the Chelsea Player of the Year award.

The Brazilian winger has struggled to maintain a regular starting spot under Antonio Conte this season with team-mate Pedro in fine form, and reports claim Mourinho will try to use that to convince the 28-year-old to switch to the Old Trafford.

Mourinho wants to work with Chelsea’s Brazilian star Willian again and is ready to make a £25 million January move.

Will Chelsea let Willian move? I don’t think so, as he’s still a key part of the team.

Although The Telegraph claim Conte could decide to consider offers for him when the transfer window opens.
