Rangers wonderkid Billy Gilmour is set to become a Chelsea player after his 16th birthday in June after Chelsea won the race to sign him ahead of Manchester United.
However, a report by Daily Express claim Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha has made a personal plea to Billy Gilmour in a last-ditch bid to persuade the wonderkid to snub Chelsea.
According to the report, Caixinha spoke to Gilmour and his family and assured them age is no barrier and Gilmour will play for the Rangers first team if he is good enough.
Gilmour has been reportedly training with the first team at Rangers and was included in the Scottish Cup squads for the wins against Morton and Hamilton.
The move to Chelsea is almost a done deal barring a change of heart from the teenager.
