Former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho and current boss Antonio Conte clashed during the game in Chelsea’s 1-0 win against United at Stamford Bridge on Monday night.
However, reports claim that the two managers were almost at each other’s throat in the tunnel at half-time.
Ander Herrera was sent off by Michael Oliver in the 35th minute of the game, following two fouls on Hazard which led to Mourinho’s anger, and it appears tensions spilled over into the tunnel at the break, according to Marca.
Marca report that several players stepped in as the two managers continued to row inside the tunnel at half-time.
It’s believed Conte disliked the way in which Mourinho responded to his ‘cries and gestures’ as they made their way down the tunnel, Metro reports.
