Victor Moses has gone from being a backup player in the Chelsea squad to a key player under Antonio Conte.
The Nigeria international who’s in his fifth year as a Chelsea player, sprung to life under Conte, as he has since made the right wing-back spot his own. He has started every Premier League game for Chelsea since October 1, and is a huge part of Chelsea’s success story so far.
The 26-year-old was previously earning £45,000 per week, but his new-found form this season has earned him a new contract. The Nigerian’s salary has been increased to £75,000 per week.
Although his new salary fits his new-found status, he’s still a bit behind the other senior team players.
Eden Hazard currently is Chelsea’s highest earner with £200, 000 per week, followed by Diego Costa with £185, 000 per week. Next is Cesc Fabregas on £156, 000, David Luiz and Thibaut Courtois both earn £120, 000, while Wilian and N’Golo Kante are on £110, 000 per week. Pedro Rodriguez, Nemanja Matic and Gary Cahill earn £100, 000, £90, 000 and £85, 000 respectively before Victor Moses in £75, 000 per week.
Congrats again to Victor Moses on his new deal.
