It was reported that Chelsea had made a £32 million bid for Monaco midfielder, Tiemoue Bakayako, as Chelsea aim to buckle up the midfield ahead of next season’s Champions League and probable Premier League title retention.
Bakayako has been in amazing form for Monaco, hence the Chelsea interest.
However, Sky Sports’ Guillem Balague reported the Blues had made progress with the player but not yet the club in terms of striking a deal:

According to French outlet L’Equipe (h/t Get French Football News), the 22-year-old will “almost certainly” be prevented from following the Brazilian out of the exit door this summer despite his “interest in moving to Chelsea.”
AS Monaco will reportedly block Chelsea target Tiemoue Bakayoko from moving this summer if team-mate Fabinho leaves, reports claim.
