We know Sir Alex Ferguson too well, and in our rivalry with Manchester United during his time at Old Trafford, there was this belief among Chelsea fans that Sir Alex Ferguson usually had his way with referees – and Ferguson’s remarks after Chelsea’s victory is just something to laugh about.

The legendary manager was in Stamford Bridge on Monday night but couldn’t do anything to prevent his team from bowing out of the FA Cup as they suffered a 1-0 loss.

Just like only the people connected with Manchester United, Ferguson believes Ander Herrera shouldn’t have gotten a red card.

“I wish I could swear about the referee but I won’t!” Ferguson told the BBC at Cheltenham Festival following United’s loss.

Even Ferguson wouldn’t believe himself.
