Tammy Abraham has set the Championship on fire with his goals for Bristol City. In just his first season on loan at the club, the Chelsea striker has already scored 21 times for Bristol City in all competitions this season, and currently has the record of the first teenager to have hit 16 or more goals in the Championship.
Speaking about his record, he told the official Chelsea website: “It’s a massive achievement for me. Scoring goals is what I love doing and to break a record gives me extra confidence when I go out onto the pitch and enables me to embrace my love for the game.”
The 19-year-old was part of Guus Hiddink’s team towards the end of last season, and he revealed that it helped him settle to life quickly in his new club.
“Being involved with the first team at Chelsea during the summer gave me a lot of confidence going into the season and I just knew that I had to do a job at Bristol City, which was to go there and perform, and that’s what I’ve been doing,” he said.
