Rewind back to 2012 when Chelsea captain John Terry was also the captain of the England national team. He was stripped of the role by the FA, after being accused of being racist towards former Queens Park Rangers defender Anton Ferdinand.

Fabio Capello retired from his role as England manager when Terry was stripped of his captaincy. The former England manager was in the stadium to watch Chelsea beat Manchester United in the FA Cup quarterfinals.

Terry took the opportunity to have a photo with the Italian, and shared the photo on his instagram page, while revealing his respect for the former England manager. “Great to see Mr Capello after the game last night,” said.

“A great man and manager of whom I have the utmost respect for. Thank you”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
