This season could be a peculiar one for Chelsea, as our youth team and senior team both have the opportunity to be crowned champions of England.
After being crowned Under-18 Premier League south section champions, our fixtures in the Under-18 Premier League elite play-off round have been confirmed, with Jody Morris’s side beginning their bid to be crowned national champions with a trip to West Ham.
The merit round will include the top four teams from the regional north and south sections as they face off in a seven-match mini-league, playing each other once either at home or away.
Following the visit to east London, where the young Blues were 3-0 winners last month, we host Arsenal and Manchester United at Cobham before travelling to Manchester to take on City, last season’s national champions. The season concludes with home games against Blackburn Rovers and Reading, either side of a trip to Liverpool, the official Chelsea website reported.
