Antoinne Griezmann has been a longtime target for Jose Mourinho and Manchester United, although he has been linked here and there with Chelsea.

Rumours now claim Antonio Conte will battle with Mourinho for the Atletico Madrid forward during the coming summer transfer window as Conte searches for another striker.

According to The Sun, Chelsea are prepared to give the Italian whatever funds it takes to beat United to the 26-year-old’s signature as part of a major shake up at Stamford Bridge.

Conte is a big fan of Griezmann and the Italian sees him as a player that can fit into his system, and the club are said to have handed their manager a ‘blank cheque’ to improve on his current crop of players.

Although United are still favourites to land Griezmann, Chelsea will be willing to fight for his signature, according to reports.
