While I’m a huge fan of Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, it’s quite ludicrous to even think of comparing the 20-year-old with one of Chelsea’s greatest ever players – Didier Drogba.
20-year-old Celtic star Moussa Dembele, who was playing Championship football last season has been in scintillating form for Celtic this season, and his teammate Scott Sinclair, believes he’s just as good as Didier Drogba. Speaking of abomination.
Sinclair, who graduated from the Chelsea academy and also played alongside Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero at Manchester City, says his Bhoys pal is top class and could be among the greatest.
When quizzed over his best team-mates, he said: “Maybe Aguero or Tevez. One of those two.
“I can throw in Drogba too.
“I’ve played with some good strikers but Moussa’s got that attribute where he’s scoring goals and that mentality to want to do better and better.
“I’d say Moussa’s similar to them.
“He’s learning and I’m sure he watches YouTube clips and he’s trying to learn off the best. That’s what any young striker does.
“At the moment he is doing unbelievably. As a striker, and the confi dence he’s got, he’s scoring every week.
“He got back to back hat-tricks and his development is unbelievable.”
“The way he is going it seems like he’s scoring every week.
“He’s definitely going to be playing for France soon.
“Everyone has got to look at how many goals he’s scored and how well he is doing.”
