Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has been a back-up goalkeeper to Thibaut Courtois but he is good enough to be first choice for most Premier League teams.
Begovic wants regular football and he has been looking for an exit from Stamford Bridge since January.
London rivals West Ham are reportedly one of the clubs interested in making a move for Begovic but West Ham manager Slaven Bilic has ruled out making a move for Begovic because West Ham currently have goalkeepers Adrian and Darren Randolph in their squad.
“We have been linked with many players in the last three transfer windows, including Chelsea goalkeeper Asmir Begovic,” Bilic is quoted on Standard Sport.
“In those three windows, though, I have said a few times that the only position in the team I have no interest in discussing is the goalkeeping spot.
“I was happy – and I am still happy – with Adrian and Darren Randolph.”
Can Chelsea find a quality backup goalkeeper like Begovic when he eventually leaves in the summer?
