29-year-old West Ham star Robert Snodgrass could miss Monday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea after failing to appear at Glasgow’s Justice of the Peace Court yesterday.

According to the Daily Star, on Thursday night Snodgrass attended the London premier of ‘Iron Men’ about West Ham’s final season at Upton Park, along with team-mates.

But his defence lawyer Martin Black told the court his client ‘didn’t think he had to be’ when asked why Snodgrass was not present in court to face a motoring charge in relation to an incident in April 2015.

JP Eunice Paton then granted a warrant for his arrest.

This could make him unavailable for Monday night’s clash.
