Today, the much awaited game between Chelsea and Manchester United happens, and everyone is looking forward to it. Fans of both clubs would no doubt want to see their team win and progress, but if you asked me, I honestly don’t see the need for Man Utd progressing. They made it this far, they have done well, but sadly, there’s no way they can do better than they have already.

Of course, we’re winning them tonight, but even if they were to nick it to the death, then what? This is the quarter-final stage of the competition, after now, it’s the semis, and with the calibre of teams already there waiting for the qualifying team tonight, I’m sure you’d agree with me that Man Utd would be doing themselves a lot of good by bowing out tonight to focus of a top 6 finish in the EPL.

I’m a fan of Jose Mourinho. He did well for us and all, but sometimes you need to accept the truth the way it is. Man Utd do not have the capacity to successful match up teams like Tottenham, City and Arsenal, they’d still lose, so it’s only fitting that we progress and play them. We have already come up against all 3 teams this season and beaten them, we can definitely handle them again.

If you’re a United fan reading this, I’m sorry, but your team doesn’t belong in the Semis of the FA cup. So when you lose tonight, simply thank goodness you were saved more embarrassment early enough in the competition. The competition gets tougher here on, and only a deserving team like Chelsea should get a slot. Besides, we would do Mourinho and Manchester United a favour by reducing their fixture list and giving them the time to focus on the Europa League.
