For about two weeks now Eden Hazard hasn’t been involved in any football game. The 26-year-old missed the 2-1 win against Stoke City and also missed Belgium’s games against Greece and Russia.
Next for Chelsea in the Premier League is Crystal Palace, and his international teammate Christian Benteke believes Hazard will be fit to play against his club.
He said: “Yes I think he will play (for Chelsea).
“He came into the dressing room after the match against Greece.
“He told me he could have played but it would have been a big risk to aggravate his injury.
“With a few days rest, he should be ready.”
There were fears he was going to be unavailable to play against Crystal Palace, but recent reports suggest he’s nearing full fitness to face Palace on April 1.
