Two Chelsea players were involved in the international games of yesterday night.

Willian and Brazil are through to the 2018 World Cup, as It was a seventh straight win for Brazil in the South American qualifying group and they have 30 points from 13 games played, seven more than Uruguay in second place.

However, two goals from former Spurs midfielder Paulinho put Brazil ahead and Neymar made it 3-1. Willian started on the bench but he was introduced for the closing minutes in place of Philippe Coutinho, after which Paulinho completed a hat-trick from close range and the match ended 4-1. Brazil will play Paraguay at home on Tuesday.

Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo who’s currently on loan in Turkey at Alanyaspor, played in the Nigeria side that came from behind to draw a friendly international with Senegal.

The Teranga Lions took the lead early in the first-half through Fenerbahce’s Moussa Sow. Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho levelled it at 1-1 with 83 minutes on the clock, scoring from the penalty spot.

Victor Moses pulled out from the game through injury.
