After Oscar moved to Chinese club Shanghai SIPG in January, Italian paper Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Chelsea made a £25.6 million offer for 30-year-old Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva.
Candreva’s agent, Federico Pastorello, seems to have confirmed a bid was indeed received from Chelsea in January after claiming Inter Milan rejected a lucrative bid from England for Candreva.
“He got a lucrative offer from England at the end of January, but I think Inter want to keep a tight hold on him,” Pastorello told Il Messaggero.
“Antonio is very happy to be part of a side which will become Juve’s main rivals.”
