Chelsea have been linked with young Atalanta defender Andrea Conti. According to reports, the Italy U21 international has been watched on a number of occasions by Chelsea this term and Antonio Conte is thought to be keen on the right-back.
However, his agent has warned that his price will go up after the U21 European Championship, and has told every club president interested in the 23-year-old to sign him now.
“Napoli like Conti a lot. I’ve been talking about him with [Napoli Sporting Director] Giuntoli for over one year,” said Mario Giuffredi.
“I don’t think his price-tag will lower in the next few months as he will be playing the U21 European Championship too.
“Italian and Premier League clubs are interested in him and that’s good for Atalanta because the player’s price-tag can only increase. If I were a president I’d try to sign him now.”
