Chelsea’s title bid was given a dent with a 2-1 loss to Crystal Palace. Chelsea started the game in bright fashion as Cesc Fabregas put Chelsea ahead within five minutes, but two quick fire goals from Zaha and Christian Benteke in the 9th and 11th minute put Crystal Palace ahead, and the game ended that way.
With Tottenham defeating Burnley, Chelsea are now seven points ahead of Spurs with 9 games left to play, but Palace boss Sam Allardyce believes Chelsea will still win the league.
The Crystal Palace boss said: “It’s a sweet three points to come to the champions, or who I think are going to be champions, and win.
“This is what the Premier League is about. There can be a shock anywhere. It will make people sit up and say wow.”
