Referee Anthony Taylor will be the man in charge when Chelsea and Arsenal lock horns in the FA Cup finals at the Wembley Stadium on May 27th.
With his appointment as the referee being revealed today, many Arsenal fans took to social media to reveal their disgust at the choice of the 38-year-old.
Their hatred for Taylor started on the opening day of the 2013/14 season, when Taylor gave Villa two penalties, issued nine yellow cards and gave a red to Laurent Koscielny.
Then there was a 3-2 defeat to Stoke in December 2014, when Calum Chambers saw red. And then, Taylor was the fourth official who sent Arsene Wenger to the stands v Burnley this season, resulting in a four-match ban for the Frenchman.

Given public spat with Wenger that's a terrible call to put Anthony Taylor in charge of the FA Cup final. Almost feels targeted tbh

How can Anthony Taylor be impartial towards Arsenal in the final, when he's had a run-in with Arsene Wenger this season…

Am I little bit upset Anthony Taylor is the referee for the FA Cup Final? No. Not at all. I am sure he will be honest to his federation.
