Liverpool great Jamie Carragher revealed Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta deserves to be in the team of the season and Azpilicueta has revealed he is flattered by Carragher’s comments.

“It’s flattering when you get that kind of praise from ex-players who have the playing career behind them that he has,” Azpilicueta told Daily Mail.

“I’ve tried from day one to give the maximum and to adapt to the league and the culture and it’s because of that, that I feel very integrated and very happy.”
