Our seven-point advantage at the top of the table was restored with the 3-1 victory over Bournemouth at Vitality Stadium.

Here is how each Chelsea player performed

Courtois – 6.5 – He had nothing to do all game and was unfortunate to concede a goal.

David Luiz – 7 – He had a good game. Played brilliant diagonal balls out wide to Moses and Alonso to start attacks for Chelsea.  However, he was unfortunate to deflect King’s shot off the reach of Courtois but he should have been tighter to King.

Cahill – 6.5 – Had a good game and did what he had to do. However, he was caught out by the pass that led to Bournemouth’s goal.

Azpilicueta – 6.5 – He had a good game and did what he had to do. He was willing to put his body on the line.

Moses – 7.5 – Moses returned after missing Chelsea’s last two games due to injury. Moses showed why Chelsea missed him as he gave width when Chelsea attacked and was always in position when Chelsea defended. His pass led to Chelsea’s first goal and he was denied a goal by the Bournemouth goalkeeper.

Alonso – 8.5 – (Man of the Match) Brilliant game by the Spanish wing-back. Always provided width when Chelsea attacked and he scored a brilliant free-kick to kill the game and ensure Chelsea leave the Vitality Stadium with a victory.

Matic – 7 – Gave a solid performance for Chelsea in midfield. Energetic as usual.

Kante – 7.5 – Another energetic performance from the midfielder. His assist for Hazard’s goal was brilliant.

Pedro – 7 – Pedro gave a good performance today. He was always willing to force the Bournemouth defence into errors by pressing high and also dropped to defend and make Chelsea tight at the back.

Hazard – 8.5 – Brilliant performance from Eden Hazard. He terrorized Bournemouth’s defence with his direct runs and his goal was brilliant and a beauty to watch. He could easily have been the man of the match.

Costa – 6.5 – Nothing seems to work for Costa in front of goal in recent times. He worked hard for the team but his passing and shots could have been better.

Fabregas – N/A – He came in late into the game to really influence the game.

Willian – N/A – The Brazilian came in for Pedro late in the game and had little time to influence the game.

Zouma – N/A – He came in for Moses late in the game and had little time to influence the game.
