From having the best defence in the league in the first half of the season, Chelsea have been leaking in goals this second half of the season.

Chelsea haven’t kept a clean sheet in the Premier League since beating Hull City 2-0 on January 22. Chelsea have conceded in 11 league games in a row, and the leaky defence was put to Antonio Conte in his pre-match press conference.

The Italian said about Chelsea’s inability to keep clean sheets: “It is important to know, I don’t like a lot these stats because sometimes the stats aren’t true, for example of possession. You can have good possession and then lose the game, it is not important some stats.

“I read this about the clean sheets, I think it is important because it is 11 games that we have not be able to keep a clean sheet. It is important to improve this situation and work on it, but I am not concerned about this. But at the same time we are working.”
