Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich was named in the top 100 of football’s most influential people.
He was recognised as the fourth most influential person in football by FC Business magazine’s top 100 most influential people in football.
They wrote: “Brought unprecedented success to Chelsea FC through huge investment in the squad. Now set for a £500m revamp of Stamford Bridge.”
Roman Abramovich took over Chelsea in 2003, and the club has since gone on to be a giant in not only the Premier League but in Europe as well, and the Champions League title in 2012 was the highlight of Chelsea’s dominance.
