Chelsea scouts were reportedly at Monaco vs Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday night to watch Monaco trio Tiemoue Bakayoko, Benjamin Mendy and Thomas Lemar according to Daily Mail.
Chelsea have been monitoring the progress of the Monaco youngsters this season and the scouts would have been impressed with their performances for Monaco on Wednesday night.
Conte reportedly wants 22-year-old Bakayoko, who earned a call-up to France national team last month, to partner N’Golo Kante in Chelsea’s midfield next season.
Monaco’s left-back Mendy is also wanted by Chelsea but a move for the full-back might prove tricky as he just joined Monaco from Marseille last summer.
21-year-old Lemar has also impressed for the French club and he is reportedly wanted by Conte. The winger, who can also play as a central midfielder, has scored ten goals this season.
Monaco will reportedly demand high fees for the trio.
