Marina Granovskaia is one of the most powerful women in football; you wouldn’t be wrong to call her the most powerful, and her time in Chelsea have coincided with the club being dominant – and she’s highly respected by Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich in improving the club’s financial fortunes and securing the purchase/contract of many high-profile players.

Granovskaia joined the club in 2003 shortly after Roman Abramovich took over the Blues, having been a close senior advisor of the Russians at his oil company, Sibneft.

FC Business magazine have recognised her role in Chelsea, and she has been named in the top 100 of football’s most influential people. She was named number 81 in FC Business magazine’s top 100 most influential people in football.
