Frustration has been the watchword for James Rodriguez since Zinedine Zidane took over as manager of Real Madrid.

The Colombian star has been a longtime target of Chelsea, but no such move has materialised.

Rodriguez was so angry he was substituted during Real Madrid’s win over Leganes that he punched the dugout in frustration.

He scored the opener and set up another and was surprised that he was still substituted in the win.

Rodriguez has been frustrated with his lack of game time under Zidane especially in big games, and this led to his frustration.

He reportedly called Zinedine Zidane a ‘motherf****r’ in an explosive rant towards the Real Madrid coach as he headed off the pitch.

As he was walking off the pitch, television cameras picked up the 25-year-old’s angry comments towards the Madrid boss.

According to Deportes Cuatro, Rodriguez said: “Motherf****r! You never give me a full game!”

Another Chelsea target Alvaro Morata, scored a hatrick to seal the 4-2 victory for Real Madrid away from home.
