Chelsea’s fixtures against Watford and West Brom have been rearranged, and this means that the Blues will have to face two matches in one weekend in the penultimate week of the Premier League season.
For television purposes, Chelsea’s matches have been switched and Antonio Conte’s side will have Friday night and Monday night games.
Chelsea will travel to West Brom on Friday May 12 for an 8pm kick-off (UK time), before hosting Watford on Monday, May 15 for another 8pm (UK time), kick-off, both to be shown live on Sky Sports.
If the current points gap at the top of the table remains, then it means the Blues could clinch the title at the Hawthorns, being the third from last game of the season.
Conte will want to snap up the title before then, as the fixture schedule might be a bit hectic for the team.
