Everton striker Romelu Lukaku refused to renew his current Everton contract which expires in 2019 after making it clear he wants to play for a Champions League club.

Lukaku left Chelsea three years ago for Everton and the 23-year-old striker is rumoured to be set for a return to Chelsea this summer.

However, Chelsea might need to break the record for a transfer with Everton reportedly demanding a £100million fee for the striker according to Daily Mail.

Lukaku has enjoyed a superb season in the Premier League this term, and currently leads the scoring charts with 24 goals.

Chelsea’s most expensive signing remains Fernando Torres at £50million and it remains to be seen if Roman Abramovich will be willing to pay £100million for Lukaku.
