Chelsea youngster Tomas Kalas who’s on loan to Fulham has admitted that he might leave the Blues permanently to join close neighbours, Fulham.
The 23-year-old has just a year left on his Chelsea contract, and he has been a key player for Fulham having made 37 appearances for the Cottagers so far in this campaign.
Kalas, speaking to Get West London, said: “I can say we’re working on it and we’re in touch with Fulham and Chelsea and we are sorting out my situation for next season.
“Getting promoted would help but anyway, everyone knows I would like to stay, not because I wouldn’t like to play anywhere else but because I’m playing every game, that’s all I need.
“Living in the area where I know, so actually right now it’s the perfect scenario for me to stay.
“If I didn’t see myself or didn’t want to play for Chelsea I wouldn’t extend a contract or wouldn’t even sign for Chelsea so obviously I’d love to play for them but we know how difficult it is to play for them.
“I prefer to prove myself and prove to everyone I can play at a good level for a certain amount of games to be able to get higher and go into the Chelsea team.”
