Our advantage at the top of the table was reduced to just four points after Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester United at Old Trafford.
Pundit Jermaine Jenas believes Chelsea’s failure to adapt to Jose Mourinho’s tactics was the root cause of Chelsea’s defeat.
“I was surprised by their (Chelsea) lack of intensity, their lack of ability to deal with the pressure that Manchester United and Jose Mourinho with his tactics put them under,” Jenas said on Match of the Day 2.
“They failed to adapt even when they had sussed out that Hazard was getting man-marked and that it was a totally different way in which United had lined up.
“They didn’t seem to change, that’s what surprised me more than anything. United were brilliant.”
